A long-established and popular venue in an attractive park in the northern outer suburbs of Bournemouth.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

TRAIN
BOURNEMOUTH Station, 3.4 miles. Excellent bus connections on Routes 5a and 5b (see bus section for more details).

CHRISTCHURCH Station is not ideal, some basic bus connection details provided.

POOLE Station : Several services to Kinson depart from the Bus Station in Poole, about 10 minutes' walk from the railway station. See the bus section for these services.

Customers are strongly advised to verify all bus details for themselves, as routes and times are always liable to change.

The nearest bus stop is on Millhams Road and is called 'Kinson Library'. For buses only serving Wimborne Road in Kinson, alight at Gullivers Tavern or Horsham Avenue, all within about 300-400 yards of the hall.

FROM BOURNEMOUTH RAILWAY STATION:

There are numerous buses between Bournemouth Railway Station and Kinson, but it nearly always quickest to catch a 5a or 5b, which,have a journey time about 35 minutes. They are shown in separate timetables, both accessible from the page linked below:

FROM CHRISTCHURCH RAILWAY STATION:

No direct buses. Take the X1, X2 or 21 to Royal Bournemouth Hospital, then the 2a or 2b to Kinson. The 2a and 2b are circuitous and slow!

FROM POOLE

There are two bus services between Poole Bus Station (just under half a mile from the Railway Station) and Kinson, Routes 14 and 32, operated by More (Wilts & Dorset). The 14 stops on or near Wimborne Road in Kinson, about 400 yards from the hall, whereas the infrequent Route 32 takes you almost to the door. Timetable Links below:

Route 14, half-hourly service on Saturdays, journey time about 45 minutes :

Route 32, from Poole Bus Station (just under half a mile from the Railway Station) to Kinson, then on to central Bournemouth and Bournemouth Station, calls virtually at the hall, but runs only 2 or 3 times per day. However, the timings might well suit customers travelling from Poole, rather than from Bournemouth, and the timetable link is immediately below. Journey time from Poole about 60 minutes. Please be sure to select Saturdays as well as your direction of travel when viewing this timetable. By default, it opens on Monday-Friday.
