Car Parking
There is free parking within the church grounds or, if this is full, free street parking in the adjacent road.

Refreshments
Basic catering is provided, i.e. snacks and drinks, such as bacon rolls and other cold filled rolls, cakes, biscuits, hot and cold drinks, avaialble until about 2pm at reasonable prices .

Train
Millbrook Station, 0.9 miles; Southampton Central 1.2 miles. There is also a possible alternative route using TWO Unilink buses from Swaythling Station; check the Unibus link in the bus section for details. The U6 comes reasonably close to the venue.

Bus
Customers are strongly advised to verify all bus details for themselves, as routes and times are always liable to change.

From Southampton City Centre and Southampton Central Station :
1.
Xelabus Route X11, an hourly service, is the only route along St. James Road and serves both the station and the city centre. It currently leaves the railway station at xx.55 on Saturdays, but please check.

There are several routes from the station which go up Shirley Road: 'First' CityReds Buses 2, 3, 12 : link here : : CityReds Buses, click here - opens in new tab

Also, Bluestar 4, 17 and 18, which between them run frequently from the city centre; Routes 4 and 18 serve the Railway Station as well. Alight at Shirley Police Station, walk a few yards ahead and then turn right into Shirley Avenue. At the far end of Shirley Avenue turn right again into St James Road and the hall is a short distance along on the right. Link here : Blue Star Buses, click here - opens in new tab

From Millbrook Station :
Not recommended, if you wish to catch the bus. This is only a station for those happy to walk a mile and it's not a straightforward walking route.
